FINAL EXAM

Location: DeBartolo 349 (our usual classroom)
 
Your Final Exam will include 8 assignments (100 points total), and one extra credit assignment (10 points). You will be expected to know all the vocabulary from lessons 7- 12 (use the flashcards!) as well as all the covered grammar.

    You will be asked (not necessarily in this order) to:
     
    • write a short essay on one or two of the following topics
      Tourism, travel, vacations, camping
      City, my home city, transportation
      Clothes
      Health and illness
      Weather, climate, and natural disasters
      Food and drink: restaurants, cooking, your preferences, cuisines
      Your favorite writer, book, film, or film director.
       
       
    • translate sentences into Russian:
    • finish sentences using the right forms of Russian verbs, nouns, adjective, adverbs (see the grammar listed above).
    •  
    • answer questions about literature, food, sports, weather, etc. (see the list above).
    •  
    • react to several statements about sports, literature, film, tourism, health, etc. (10 points)
    •  
    • render into Russian sentences, containing our target grammar. I urge you to commit to memory (or, actually, review) all the examples from the gray boxes as well as the examples illustrating our target grammar (English/Russian). (15 points)
    •  
    • supply the correct form of a verb, noun, adjective etc.
    •  
    • read a text (one of the listed above) and answer several questions to that text.
